Using Pangolin in Shadowrocket, Clash and other third-party clients

Members can turn on a subscription link in the web User Center and add it to Shadowrocket, Clash, sing-box, Hiddify or another third-party client to use every server. How to turn it on, import it, check usage and reset the link.

Last updated:

Besides the Pangolin app, members can use every Pangolin server in Shadowrocket, Clash, sing-box, Hiddify and other third-party clients that support subscription links. The same link returns the right format for each client automatically. Pangolin keeps the server list up to date: when servers are added or changed, updating the subscription in your client picks up the new list.

  1. Sign in to the web User Center and open Subscription;
  2. In the Subscription link card at the bottom, click Turn on;
  3. Your private link appears (masked by default — click Show to see the full link).

Turning it on uses 1 device slot, and traffic counts toward your account’s daily data, shared with the app. See Device limit for how devices are counted.

Add it to Shadowrocket

  • iPhone / iPad: open the User Center in your phone’s browser and tap Add to Shadowrocket — Shadowrocket opens and adds the subscription;
  • From a computer: click Copy link, send it to your phone, then in Shadowrocket tap + at the top right, choose type Subscribe, paste the link into the URL field and save.

Then pick any server in Shadowrocket and switch the connection on. Latency isn’t shown automatically — tap Connectivity Test on the home screen to measure every server.

Add it to Clash, sing-box or Hiddify

The Import to other clients row in the subscription card has a button for each; if the client is installed, one tap imports it. You can also copy the link and add it as a subscription in the client:

ClientPlatformsAfter importing
Clash Verge Rev / FlClash / ClashX Meta / StashWindows, Mac, Android, iPhonePick a server in the “Pangolin” group, or let the “自动选择” (auto) group choose the fastest
sing-box (official app)iPhone, Mac, AndroidSwitch servers on the Groups page; auto-select by default
HiddifyWindows, Mac, Android, iPhonePick a server from the list, or use auto-select

Clash and sing-box follow the Routing rules you set in the Pangolin app (local sites direct, plus your custom direct / proxy / block rules). After changing rules, update the subscription in the client to apply them.

Check usage and expiry

The subscription card in Shadowrocket, Clash and Hiddify shows today’s data used / daily allowance and your membership expiry date. The User Center card shows when a client last updated the subscription.

The subscription link works like a password for your account — don’t share it. If you think someone else is using it:

  • Click Reset link: the old link and its connection credential stop working immediately, and every device must import the new link;
  • Or click Turn off: the link stops working and the device slot is freed. Removing the “Third-party client” device under Settings → Devices does the same.

Pangolin doesn’t provide installation or billing support for third-party clients. Shadowrocket is a paid App Store app and isn’t listed in every App Store region. In Shadowrocket and Hiddify, routing rules are set in the client and don’t sync with the Routing rules setting in the Pangolin app.

FAQ

Can I use the subscription link on the free plan?

No. The subscription link is a member feature; on the free plan, keep using the Pangolin app.

Does the subscription link use a device slot?

Yes, one. A "Third-party client" device appears in your device list. Importing the same link on several devices still counts as that one slot, but they share your account's daily data.

Why do server names in Shadowrocket start with "⚠️"?

The subscription is temporarily unavailable and the name tells you why — for example your membership has expired or today's data is used up. After you renew, or once the daily allowance resets, update the subscription in your client. Clash and sing-box show the same notice server.

Don't have Pangolin yet?

Available for iPhone / iPad, Mac, Windows and Android. New accounts get a free 7-day Pro trial.
